I listened to this cd from front to back while driving to visit one of the homies locked down West Bubbafu*k Virginia the other week. This mixtape is great riding music, if you got kids its cool too. Yeah I rap but I can’t be letting my sons hear all that headbussin sh*t all the time. Shawn is preparing her full length project with Kleph Dollaz as we speak. From this and what I’ve heard so far it’s some real music, something everyone can relate to. Being a “Chapelle Show’ & music fan in general it was refreshing and entertaining to hear a true “project”, not just a collection of songs thrown together and calling it a “mixtape” or an “album”. It has a theme and flows as such. Also she sings over one of my favorite group (Outkast’s) Elevators on “It Ain’t Over”, featuring the homie Canayda.
All in all a great project.
